There is a strict dress code.

How do I get tickets?
In advance from Carnival of Souls by cheque; from Seetickets with a credit card; from our ticket outlets in Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Wolverhampton; or on the door. See the Tickets page for details. If you're coming from Nottingham we even have a special Carnival Coach.
Next event

As many of you may already know, we've decided to cancel an October 2008 event and put our efforts into March 2009.
This has come about for many reasons - Fulani and Velvet, the primary organisers, have had a hectic few months; trying to run the event twice a year has taken its toll; but more importantly it's been necessary to re-think and re-energise Carnival itself.
More news as it comes, expect a much fuller announcement during November about the March 2009 event.
Lost and found

First of all, a big thankyou to everyone who came to Carnival last weekend to make it the great event it was - and also to the volunteers, performers, bands and DJs who made it all happen. An enormous amount of unseen effort goes in behind the scenes...
Lost: one mirror, about 24 x 18 inches with a mosaic surround, originally intended for the changing area. It vanished early on in the event and we had to replace it, but since it's a handmade piece of sentimental value, if anyone picked it up its return would be appreciated.
Traders on 9 March

In addition to the bands, DJs and other entertainments already announced, the following traders will be at the venue selling clothing and a wide range of accessories for alternative lifestyles: Realm of Shadows, Fangs Fetish & Fantasy, Antrobus & Grumm, Honey Bee Corsets, Freak Clubwar, Nightbreed Records, Madam di Amante, Devolution Magazine, Myths & Minerals, Silver & Steel, Tops & Tails and Sexy Sensations. The bands will also have their own merchandise for sale.
